70's Personalization For Small Vans

In the Seventies everyone was purchasing up old work vans (all they provided were work vans at that time) and fixing them up into party vans. Boarding in the walls, adding a mattress, table, drawers, stereo system along with a wild fresh paint job.

Shop then began opening and building these to order. The way you wanted the inside done with which kind of stereo system system. The colour of fresh paint and which kind of graphics. Less individual and private because the vans only a couple of years before.

Then your custom vans developed one step further, the motor the likes of ford and GM began to simply make sure they are in the factory already repaired. Now less personalized. They began to create small vans which were all fixed on the interior, and you may already know grew to become very popular. How big the more compact van is extremely convenient far better on gas using the high costs nowadays.

However I miss the personalization from the vans within the Seventies. I simply think it might be nice to merge the 2 ideas. I colored my old Dodge van in '81 initially when i first began custom painting. It had been named the "Bungle within the Jungle". Now I actually do motorcycle flames and graphics. I don't think the custom van craze is ever going to return but, I've a desire to consider a small van and connect in the insides "retro" and fresh paint it exactly the same way. 70's Style Personalization for Small Vans
